Alpha Transit Services started the way most family operations do — with a van, a phone, and a phone number that always got answered. Van pool came first. Over a year and a half of running fixed-route commuter programs for South Carolina worksites taught us how to dispatch, schedule, and show up the same time every morning.
Today we are building out from there. Same phone number, same Sprinter van, same answer when you call. We are adding courier, medical courier, small freight, and rideshare to the operation — TWIC, HIPAA, and Bloodborne Pathogens certified, ready for our first contracts in each new line.
We are not a brokerage. We are not an app. We are not a franchise. We are a regional South Carolina carrier with our own vans, our own drivers, and a phone line that goes to a person — not a queue.
The wolf in our logo is on purpose. Wolves work in tight packs. They cover ground. They show up when it counts. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on every load we sign for.
There is no phone tree. A real person answers, or a return call comes within the hour during business hours.
If a job is outside our coverage, equipment, or schedule, we say so. We refer you to someone who can.
Pickup photo. Condition notes. Delivery photo. Signature when required. The paperwork is the product.
If we miss it, we own it. If we damage it, we fix it. There is no claims department to navigate.
Our drivers carry active certifications for the work we do. The list grows as more credentials come back.
Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the TSA — required for access to secure maritime facilities and vessels, including the Port of Charleston.
Trained on the handling of protected health information (PHI) for medical courier and healthcare delivery work.
Trained in OSHA bloodborne pathogens standards for safe handling of specimens, lab samples, and medical materials in transit.
Our daily footprint runs across the South Carolina Lowcountry, with scheduled service into the Midlands, Upstate, Coastal Georgia, and the Carolinas. Cross-country and project work available on request.
